Class of 2021
I first went to a Univeristy of California campus during the summer of 2015 for a program called the National Student Leadership Conference. Although I have been to the coast before for vacation, I have never stayed there for a relatively long period of time. During that summer, I felt that the coast was where I wanted to go for college. Zooming forward to my senior year in high school, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to receive my higher education in BIology at California. I chose UCLA specifically because I felt a connection with its atmosphere when I visited. Being also in the second largest city in the United States, I believe this university can offer the resources and opportunities I value for success later in my life.
